I don't want to spend hours learning complex commands.
Is InvesTrack for Windows easy to understand and use?
A:
Definitely yes. InvesTrack for Windows is Event Driven
- which means that you click on a menu selection name
at the top of each screen and a drop down windows give
you choices corresponding to the task to be performed.
The accompanying manual includes detailed descriptions,
screen snapshots and a tutorial, making the use of InvesTrack
for Windows easy to learn regardless of their prior
computer experience.
Q: Will InvesTrack for Windows run in Windows XP,
Windows 2000 or Windows NT?
A:
Yes. InvesTrack for Windows will run in all known versions
of the Windows operating systems, including Windows
ME, Windows 98, Windows 95, etc. You can use your mouse
or the tab and enter keys to navigate the various screens.
Q. What are the hardware requirements of InvesTrack
for Windows?
A:
InvesTrack's minimum requirements are an IBM compatible
personal computer running one of Microsoft's Windows
operating systems. Any printer that
Windows recognizes should work just fine. With laser
printers, the cost per page of consumables (toner, ink,
etc.) is usually lower than with ink jet printers.
Q: Are there multiple versions of InvesTrack?
A:
Because of customer demand for lower priced, yet full
featured software, we now have 5 versions of InvesTrack
for Windows. The following table illustrates the capacities
of each version.

The
well limit noted in the table above is the well limit
for a single investor or owner. There is virtually no
limit to the number of investors/owners you can maintain.
Q:
I own several pieces of minerals and want to keep track
of acres leased and unleased, etc., as well as revenue
from my producing wells. Does InvesTrack have the ability
to keep track of my revenue by payor, product, well
and mineral acreage?
A:
Yes. InvesTrack allows you to identify each producing
well with the property on which it is located. This
property number is not the well number you assign each
well, but a separate number to help you identify the
mineral acreage involved. In addition, we now have a
separate module titled "Mineral & Land Management"
which has extensive reporting features. Ask us for information

Q: Can I use InvesTrack with the General Ledger of
my choice?
A:
Yes! Because of the flexibility of reports available
from InvesTrack, it only takes a few minutes to post
month end totals from InvesTrack into any General Ledger
system. In addition, we have a General Ledger module
which sells for $750. This module is flexible enough
to be used for any type of business entity. It is, of
course, fully integrated with InvesTrack for Windows.
Q: What other modules, besides General Ledger and
Mineral & Land Management, are available?
A:
Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts and Gas Balancing. Each
of these modules sell for $250.

Q: What about things like depletion, depreciation,
and graphics?
A:
InvesTrack for Windows can show you a graph of past
revenue and volumes on the screen. Depletion, depreciation,
etc. can be entered in the General Ledger module. In
addition, you can export selected data to a spreadsheet
compatible file for importing into your favorite spreadsheet
or database program. This allows you to produce custom
reports and graphs.
